The World Digital Library, launched on April 21, 2009, is a digital library project promoted by the Library of Congress and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It collects digitized manuscripts, maps, rare books, photos and films from libraries and archives around the world which you can search and browse by place, time and topic.
