2014-5-19 In commemoration of "The Day of the Legal Deposit System", May 25, we give the percentage of legal-deposited publications surveyed in FY 2013.

By FY 2013, 98.9 percent (a 1.6-point increase over the previous year) of books issued by private publishers in 2012 was delivered to the National Diet Library based on the legal deposit system.

This percentage has been kept at a high level. We will continue to take measures to collect publications comprehensively in cooperation with the parties concerned.
