2015-4-21 Library will be very crowded during the "Golden Week" Japanese holiday season from 25th April to 9th May

Since the National Diet Library will have many more users than usual during this holiday season from 25th April to 9th May, it is expected to be very crowded. Please give yourself plenty of time when visiting the Library.

Starting from January 2012, User Registration has been required to use materials from the closed stacks of the Library. For details, please refer to the "User Registration".

At the Tokyo Main Library, registration takes a long time depending on how crowded it is.
Especially during the period mentioned above, please be advised that more time might be required to complete your registration.
