On March 24, the National Diet Library released "The union catalog of modern Japanese music printed before 1945" in Research Navi.

You can search musical scores printed in Japan before 1945 and owned by NDL and other libraries in Japan. Traditional Japanese scores are not included.

This Database has been compiled by the Research Committee of Musical Source in Japan, the Musicological Society of Japan, based on a commission by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

NDL released this database based on the Agreement with the Agency for Cultural Affairs to ensure the reliable handing-on of our valuable materials to the next generation.
