2019-2-4 Digital object identifiers (DOI) for library materials digitized by the NDL

The National Diet Library (NDL) has registered digital object identifiers (DOI) for some 2.3 million library materials digitized by the NDL.

In fact, of the approximately 2,540,000, materials that have been digitized by the NDL, almost all are now available via the NDL Digital Collections and can be accessed via a permanent DOI, thereby ensuring that patrons need never encounter a broken link while looking at thousands of books, periodicals, official gazettes, modern Japanese political history materials, scripts, and music manuscripts.
