2022-3-31 Science and Technology Research Project reports released: "Genome Editing Technologies: Issues arising on the frontline and future prospects," "Technologies for Decarbonized Society and Related Issues," and "Quantum Information Technologies"

The Research and Legislative Reference Bureau of the National Diet Library has conducted the Science and Technology Research Project since FY2010, in which certain topics from important policy issues related to science and technology are selected to be studied and analyzed in cooperation with external experts. As a result of the FY2021 project, reports on the following three subjects have been published:

  • "Genome Editing Technologies: Issues arising on the frontline and future prospects"
  • "Technologies for Decarbonized Society and Related Issues"
  • "Quantum Information Technologies"
