2022-11-1 Exhibition "Seek Knowledge throughout the World: Culture of Translation before and after the Meiji Restoration," starts in November 11

From November 11 to December 9 at the National Diet Library's Tokyo Main Library, an exhibition on the culture of translation in late Edo and early Meiji period Japan will be held. The exhibition features over 200 original Chinese and Western books and their Japanese translations from the National Diet Library's collection.
