2022-12-2 Library services at the year-end and New Year
Holiday closure
The Tokyo Main Library, the Kansai-kan and the International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) will be closed from Wednesday, December 28, 2022, to Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
- *The NDL Online's search function and copying service are available even when NDL facilities are closed. Due to system maintenance, users cannot view request status and printout request histories from 19:30 December 28, 2022 to 18:00 January 3, 2023.
- *Copies requested during the holiday closure will be sent on or after Thursday, January 5, 2023. Please understand that shipping may be delayed more than usual depending on congestion.
Later date photoduplication for visitors
The deadlines for requesting later date photoduplication to be shipped by the end of this year are shown in the table below.
Please be aware that some requests for large quantities or certain copy methods might not be completed until on or after January 5, 2023. Urgent requests should be made as soon as possible, regardless of the deadlines shown below.
