2023-12-1 Library services at the year-end and New Year
Holiday closure
The Tokyo Main Library, the Kansai-kan and the International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) will be closed from Thursday, December 28, 2023, to Thursday, January 4, 2024.
- * Services requiring login, including copying services via NDL Online, will also be unavailable when NDL facilities are closed. The search function will be available. For details, please see "Temporary Suspension of Some Online Services December 27, 2023, to January 4, 2024".
- *Please understand that shipping for the copying service may be delayed more than usual (in some cases, after January 5) depending on congestion.
Later date photoduplication for visitors
The deadlines for requesting later date photoduplication to be shipped by the end of this year are shown in the table below.
Please be aware that some requests for large quantities or certain copy methods might not be completed until on or after January 5, 2024. Urgent requests should be made as soon as possible, regardless of the deadlines shown below.
