2024-4-1 KURATA Keiko appointed new Director General of the National Diet Library

As of March 31, 2024, Mr. YOSHINAGA Motonobu, the Director General of the National Diet Library retired and as of April 1, 2024, Ms. KURATA Keiko was newly appointed the Director General of the National Diet Library.

Ms. Kurata served as Professor of Keio University from 2001 to 2024 as well as Dean, Faculty of Letters at Keio University from 2021 to 2023, and is Emeritus Professor of Keio University. Born in 1958.
