2024-8-23 Full text data for all time periods is now available in the Database System for the Minutes of the Imperial Diet

The NDL has now released text data created using OCR from image data (total of about 270,000 pages) of stenographic transcripts for the prewar and wartime periods (November 1890 to August 1945) in the Database System for the Minutes of the Imperial Diet.

This means that, in addition to the postwar period (September 1945 to March 1947) for which text data was already available, it is now possible to perform full-text searches and display the text of questions and answers, bills, and other recorded transcripts for the entire period of the Imperial Diet.
