Holiday closure and suspension of services
The Tokyo Main Library, the Kansai-kan and the International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) will be closed from Friday, December 27, 2024, to Monday, January 6, 2025.
Also, services requiring logging in to NDL web services, including copying services via NDL Search or the Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Individuals via the National Diet Library Digital Collections, will also be unavailable from 18:00, Friday, December 27, 2024, to Monday, January 6, 2025. Search functions will be available. For details, please see "Temporary Suspension of Some Online Services and Delays to Providing Materials".

Later date photoduplication for visitors
The deadlines for requesting later date photoduplication to be shipped by the end of this year are shown in the table below.
Please be aware that some requests for large quantities or certain copy methods might not be completed until on or after January 7, 2025. Urgent requests should be made as soon as possible, regardless of the deadlines shown below.
