- Description
- A disciple of Utagawa Hiroshige I. He followed the style of painting of Hiroshige I and worked on landscapes and bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women). Around 1865, he left his teacher's house and used the name Kisai Rissho and also worked on Yokohama-e (prints depicting foreigners at the port of Yokohama) and prints included with exported tea boxes.
