- A baba (horse riding ground) constructed in 1636. There is a theory that the origin of the name comes from Takada, the mother of Tokugawa Ieyasu's sixth son Matsudaira Tadateru, who went sightseeing at the location in the Keicho Era (1596-1615). Famous as the location where Horibe Yasubei slew his uncle's enemies. In more recent times, it became a place for entertainment, and target shooting gambling and other events were held. Entertainment at Baba, which was on the way, was very important for worshippers visiting Kishimonjin Shrine in Zoshigaya.
