About the new service (New NDL Search)
- Q
- Has the information in My List of NDL Online been transferred to the new NDL Search?
- A
- My List information updated by 19:00, December 27 (Wed.), 2023 has been transferred to the new NDL Search. However, stored bibliographic records of periodical issues were changed to bibliographic records of periodical titles without volume number, and transferred.
In the new NDL Search, the function for organizing bibliographic information in My List has been changed from organizing by folders to organizing by tags. The character limit of tag names is shorter than folder names on NDL Online. If you had created a folder with 33 or more characters in NDL Online, it has been transferred as is, but when changing the tag name, you must shorten them to 32 characters or less.

This makes it possible to search more efficiently for information on materials held by the National Diet Library, materials held by other institutions, digital information, and research techniques. In addition, the user interface has been revised to make it easier and more intuitive to use.
