The texts in this electronic exhibition were written by Mr. Sato Ken’ichi (Associate Professor, University of Electro-Communications) and Orita Hiroharu (Library Counsellor of the National Diet Library) (as of when they were written).

Some of the pictures used in this exhibition belong to other institutions and some are Mr. Sato’s collection.
■Bibliographic Matters
- As a rule, descriptions of on the materials of the Wasan Library are provided in the following order:
title, number of volumes, author, where published, publisher, year of printing or copy, number of physical volumes, call number - We adopted the well-known name as the name of authors.
- Years are shown in the Japanese eras or periods along with the Christian era in (). We write manuscripts as Ms.
- Our call numbers are in < >.
