Documents with Commentaries Part 2 Creation of Various Proposals to Reform the Constitution
These are "Draft A" containing major revisions and "Draft B" with minor revisions which were drafted according to the arguments up to that point by Toshiyoshi Miyazawa upon hearing an informal talk in the sixth general meeting of the Constitutional Problems Investigation Committee on December 26, 1945, and were submitted to the eighth examination meeting (subcommittee meeting) on January 4, 1946. Of these, "Draft A" was disclosed in the Mainichi Newspaper. However, these proposals were referred to in debate at the examination meeting (subcommittee meeting), but were not actually used to frame the basis of the proposal.
