Conservation of paper materials: How to make simple folding cases
Introduction
In this course, you can learn how to make an inexpensive and easy-to-make folding case for protecting library materials from various causes of deterioration.
* In this course, we introduce the simple folding case invented and used in the Sanko Library in Tokyo, with special permission from the library.
* This course focuses on quick repair of general library materials for people who do not have expertise in conservation treatments. Please do not use methods introduced in the course on rare or heavily deteriorated materials.
* The National Diet Library of Japan accepts no responsibility for any problems or damage to materials brought about by using methods introduced in this course.
