2021-1-26 ILCL exhibition "Sports and Children's Books" will be held.（International Library of Children's Literature）
The International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) announces an exhibition entitled "Sports and Children's Books" to be held at the ILCL from March 9 (Tue.), to June 13 (Sun.), 2021.
Selecting about 180 books from the ILCL's collection, this exhibition will present sports-themed children's books. Some of them connect sports with social themes such as wars or discrimination. Others include children's magazines featuring and published around the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games and children's books dealing with the Paralympic Games.
*This exhibition was originally scheduled to be held from March 24 (Tue.) to June 28 (Sun.), 2020, but was cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19. The exhibition will be held during the revised period described above.
