2023-2-14 ILCL exhibition "The Imperial Library's Dream of Becoming the Greatest Library in the Orient" will be held.（International Library of Children's Literature）
The International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) would like to announce an exhibition entitled "The Imperial Library's Dream of Becoming the Greatest Library in the Orient," to be held at the ILCL from Tuesday, March 28, to Sunday, July 16, 2023.
The Brick Building of the ILCL was originally constructed as the Imperial Library during the Meiji era (1868-1912) and has since been renovated for continued use.
This exhibition is the second in a series of exhibitions introducing the history of the ILCL with architecture as its focus. This exhibition focuses on the very existence of the Imperial Library, which was built with the aim of becoming the greatest library in the Orient.
