I would like to visit the Library to copy some materials. What should I do?

Please refer to the page below. Fees vary depending on the type of copying. Copying services are provided in compliance with copyright laws. Copying may not be permitted, depending on the status of the materials.

After applying for same-day copying, how long does it take to receive the copies?
A
The standard time for provision of copied materials is within around 30 minutes from time of application, but during busy times this may take longer, depending on the copying method etc.

Is it possible to download digitized data to a CD-R or USB memory or other media and take a copy home?

Please understand that data copying of materials from the digitized collections at the National Diet Library is not available.

Can I apply for remote copying services from within the Library?
A
For system reasons, it is not possible to apply for remote copying services from the terminals in the Library.
Please apply after leaving the Library, either from an Internet connection or through a local public library.
